Staging ~Gracious Moves has been staging homes, builder's models and commercial spaces since 1985. Our team creates beautiful surroundings by utilizing a customer's own furnishings, or by purchasing the perfect items to finish off your home or business.
Realtors have utilized our services to stage homes before they are listed for sale, or for homes that have been on the market a while and need staging to make them more salable. According to the National Association of Realtors, staged homes sell faster and at a higher price than unstaged homes. 98% of homes are viewed on the internet before a potential buyer sees them, so the first "showing" is through the posted photographs of the interior and exterior of the home.
Exterior staging is equally important, as it adds curb appeal and additional living space by creating outdoor rooms. We act as a project manager for renovations, landscape planning and bring in our crew for planting flowers or minor yard clean up. Sprucing up and creating beauty, inside and out, is what we do.
A Tybee Treasure: We sold this beach house as a vacation home to a second home buyer. It had been vacant for 2.5 years with roof leaks and no air conditioning. After managing the mold remediation and repairs, we completely designed the interior, using a minimum of the client's furnishings. Our team designed/and helped a contractor build a recreational room on the ground floor that was part of a 6 car garage. (That's Brooke installing insulation below). It included a palm frond awning with party lights, custom lights over the pool table, lattis walls and painted concrete. This house is an example of our work, representing renovation and design, utilizing treasures found at consignment stores, yard sales, and on line used furniture purchases. It was done on a shoe string, and think it looks terrific!
